Location: MyCaffé, Belval
Rain has returned to Belval.
Umbrellas open, pavements glisten and the scent of autumn fills the air. Inside MyCaffé, the warmth doesn’t come from the weather but from the kitchen, from the slow simmer of sauces and the comforting rhythm of Italian hospitality.
This week’s menu is a journey through Italy in autumn, from the mountains to the sea.
🍝 Orecchiette with red tuna, cherry tomatoes and spinach sprouts
A classic from Puglia, hand-shaped pasta that has been made the same way for generations. Here, it meets the lightness of tuna and the brightness of tomatoes, a dish that tastes like sunshine in the rain.
🥟 Ravioli stuffed with wild boar in chestnut pastry
In Tuscany, chestnuts were once called “the bread of the poor”. Their flour brings sweetness and depth to the pasta, while the wild boar adds a touch of wilderness.
🌱 Cavatelli with peas, bacon and mascarpone
Simple, balanced and comforting, like a conversation shared over lunch with a friend.
🍄 Tagliatelle with eggplant, mushrooms and truffle-scented cherry tomatoes
A tribute to the Italian woods and to the art of slow cooking. In Italy, truffles are called diamanti della terra – the diamonds of the earth.
🎃 Beef roulade with pumpkin cream and caramelised leek
Rich, tender and smooth, this dish tastes like autumn in every bite.
At MyCaffé, the rain becomes an invitation to slow down, to savour and to smile.
Happiness begins with good food and good company.
