This week's menu in Belval, 24 to 28 August | MyCaffé

At MyCaffé the Suggestioni change every week. Six dishes, Monday to Friday, and the following Monday we start again with six others.

This week they fall on 25 August. That is the day MyCaffé turns three. So the six dishes below are the ones that will be served that day, and on Tuesday they are 10% off.

Monday 24 to Friday 28 August

Maccheroni al Salmone · 21,60 € Salmon on pea cream with lemon bread crumbs. (1.3.4.6.7.10)

Chitarra alle Cozze · 21,80 € Mussels, zucchini cream and pecorino. (1.3.7.14)

Risotto ai Peperoni · 21,80 € Peppers, burrata stracciatella and fried rocket. (7)

Ravioli Salsiccia e Friarelli · 22,60 € Stuffed with sausage and friarelli, confit cherry tomatoes and almonds. (1.3.8)

Puccia al Polipo · 23,80 € Grilled octopus tentacles, spinach, stracciatella and cherry tomatoes. (1.7.14)

Tagliata di Pollo · 24,90 € Halal chicken fillet, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach salad and homemade yogurt sauce. (7)

Three names that come from somewhere

Chitarra is named after the tool from Abruzzo used to cut it, a wooden frame strung with steel wires that the dough is pressed through.

Sausage and friarelli is a Neapolitan pairing. They have been served together down there forever. Here they are inside a raviolo.

Puccia comes from Salento, at the very end of Puglia. It is a round bread, opened and filled. Ours holds grilled octopus.

These recipes are much older than we are. We only cook them.
