In Italy, some sweets are never just desserts.
They carry memories, gestures passed down and moments shared together.
Zeppole are one of them.
They are closely linked to the Festa di San Giuseppe, celebrated on 19 March. On that day, across Italy and especially in the South, pastry shop displays fill with golden, delicate and generous treats.
In Puglia, the tradition runs deep.
Kitchens come alive early in the morning.
The dough is prepared, the oil slowly warms, people talk, taste and laugh.
Recipes move from hand to hand, often unwritten, passed on through habit and affection.
Zeppole are golden and light, slightly crisp outside and soft inside.
They are most often enjoyed with family, around the table, celebrating fathers, grandfathers and the simple moments shared together.
At MyCaffé, we like to honour this tradition with sincerity.
Because not everyone has the time or the desire to prepare them at home.
That is why our zeppole are available on-site, though preferably made to order, just like in Italy.
We offer them in two versions:
• Zeppolina
Small and delicate, fried or baked
€2.70 each
• Zeppola (large)
More generous, fried
€4.80 each
Discover them.
Share them.
And take part in an Italian tradition best enjoyed with family.
Con amore. 🇮🇹💚
