Today MyCaffé closes at 16:00 to get ready for the Kulturlaf

This Friday we are pulling the shutter down at 16:00. It is not our habit, a Friday normally runs until 19:00. But tomorrow is not an ordinary Saturday either.

Tomorrow, Saturday 5 September, the Kulturlaf starts on our street. It is the twentieth edition, and once again it starts and finishes at the Maison des Arts et des Étudiants on Avenue de la Fonte, a few minutes on foot from our door. The first start is at 17:15 for the children, then 18:00 for the half marathon, the 10 miles and the 10 km, and 18:15 for the 5 km. The party carries on after 20:30 with concerts.

At our end, that takes some getting ready. So this afternoon we close a little early, tidy up, prepare, and keep some energy for tomorrow. Tomorrow we are here for you from 9:00 to midnight.

What is waiting for you tomorrow

We open at 9:00 and we do not close until midnight. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with the week’s six Suggestioni. From 16:00 there is a stand at the door: hot panzerotti at 5 €, or 6 € with cooked ham, to eat standing up between two starts, or while you wait for someone who is running.

If you are running, we will see you go past. If you are with someone who is, there is a chair, and nobody will come and ask you to give it up. If you are only here for the music and the atmosphere, that is fine too. Where we come from, an evening race with concerts is called a sagra.

It is also the first Saturday of the new season: from tomorrow, MyCaffé is open on Saturdays again. Everything is happening at once. The timing is rather good.

So today, 16:00. Tomorrow, 9:00. The menu of the week stays the same, and you can still order online.
