Gnocchi, the kind that feel like home

Date: February 16, 2026 - February 20, 2026

Location: MyCaffé, Belval

After a weekend without you, we return to the kitchen with something simple in mind: cook food that makes you sit down, breathe, and enjoy the moment.

This week, we would like to draw your attention to one dish in particular:
Gnocchi with cardoncelli mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and scamorza cheese.

Not a show-off dish.
An honest one.

A dish with history

Gnocchi are among the oldest pasta-like preparations in Italy. Long before potatoes arrived in Europe in the 16th century, there were already versions made from flour or semolina.

The potato gnocchi we know today became especially popular in Northern Italy. Light and tender when properly made, they require real care and technique.

At MyCaffé, we want them soft.
Never heavy. Never dense.

Cardoncelli mushrooms from Southern Italy

Cardoncelli mushrooms are widely used in Southern Italy, particularly in Puglia. They are fleshy, aromatic and full of character, with a texture that holds beautifully when sautéed.

We cook them gently in olive oil.
No rush.

Cherry tomatoes bring freshness and balance, while scamorza melts softly, creating a delicate, comforting finish.

This dish does not try to impress.
It simply aims to make you feel good.

Pasta, the Italian way

Every week at MyCaffé, we dress pasta differently. Not because it is trendy, but because in Italy, pasta changes with the season, the market and the mood of the kitchen.

That is the spirit we want to share with you.

And remember, MyCaffé is more than lunch.
It is morning espresso, cappuccino foam, afternoon conversations.
From Wednesday to Friday, you can now stay with us until 19:00 and enjoy MyAperitivo by MyCaffé.

We look forward to welcoming you this week.
Con calore. Con gusto.
